If a receipt is required please enclose a stamped addressed envelope.

Choreography questionaires should be handed in to a Festival Official at the beginning of the Festival

A maximum of  two teacher’s tickets are issued to each school and can only be used by teachers.

Please ensure that entrants are ready to dance at least 15 minutes prior to the start of their class. Competitors will only be able to dance in the section for which they are eligible. ALL CD-R’S MUST HAVE ONE DANCE PER CD. See rule 13.

There will be no re-dances unless cd fails.

ENTRIES SHOULD BE SENT TO: ANDY NOCKELS, 7 PLOVER CLOSE, LORDSWOOD, SOUTHAMPTON, SO16 8EU,  OR EMAIL  nockeg@ntlworld.com   . IF EMAILING ENTRY FEES MUST BE POSTED AT THE SAME TIME.

As we have a computerized data base for entries and programming - it is essential that the correct date of birth for each Competitor is entered on the Teachers Entry Form. If any competitors date of birth has been omitted, entry forms will be returned. Thank you for your co-operation.

Please note the following recommendations from our recent Federation of Festivals conference:

·         In all dance categories costume, movement and music/words must be appropriate to the age of the performers

·         “Song and Dance” does not necessarily have to be 50/50 but should be a balanced performance combining song and movement to produce a good characterisation

For further guidance refer to the current All England Dance syllabus (which includes the stipulation that Lyrical Modern must not contain gymnastic or acrobatic work).
